Ellis Launches SHAKE THE WORLD Promotional Campaign
Ellis students don't fit into a box. Their interests are wide-ranging, their skill sets are far-reaching, and their passions are ever-evolving. From pre-kindergarten to grade 12, you’ll find brilliant problem-solvers, community-minded collaborators, ambitious voices, and courageous changemakers filling our classrooms, learning how to shake the world.
To celebrate our multifaceted and accomplished student body, and to raise awareness within the region, Ellis is proud to officially launch the SHAKE THE WORLD promotional campaign which celebrates the wide array of ways to be an Ellis girl. SHAKE THE WORLD speaks to the aspirations and triumphs of our students, to the unmatched excellence of our program, and to the ways Ellis continues to be a spectacular launching pad for girls and young women in today’s world. The primary goal of the promotional campaign is to recruit and retain a vibrant student body by increasing community awareness and excitement about Ellis, one of the Ellis on the Move strategic plan’s top priorities through 2024.
“The reason it is compelling for us to tell the story of Ellis through the stories of individual girls is because as a school we have such a wide variety of diverse girls who come together to learn in community here,” shared Macon Finley, Head of School. “These students are continually lifting up all the different ways to be a changemaker.”
In November, 39 students participated in a tandem photo and video shoot on campus, and we are thrilled to begin releasing the final product over the months ahead on our website and social media channels. You can begin diving into some of these inspiring stories by getting to know Eleanor, Lizzie, Trinity, Rowan, and Scarlett.
The students included in the initial rollout are a sampling of the many individuals who brighten our school community. The promotional campaign will be an ongoing effort and the Marketing and Communications Office is excited to continue to feature additional students in the coming months. Students and their families interested in participating in the future can email myellis@theellisschool.org indicating their interest.
SHAKE THE WORLD is designed to tell the story of Ellis through the people who know it best: our students. By lifting up their voices, the School aims to celebrate their bold personalities, vast interests, and unique experiences. Whether you already know Ellis or you're just being introduced, SHAKE THE WORLD shines a new light on the students as they develop into brave, bold young women who are ready to use their powerful minds and voices to change the world.
