Flexible Extended Day Options for Families
At The Ellis School, we understand that families need flexibility. Our before- and after-school care programs provide a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment that extends the school day while supporting students' growth, independence, and well-being.
Whether you need an earlier drop-off, a later pick-up, or occasional coverage during professional development days, Ellis offers convenient options designed to meet the needs of busy families. Students enjoy opportunities to socialize, complete homework, participate in creative activities, and unwind after a productive school day - all within the familiar environment of our campus.
Before School Care
Start the day with confidence. Ellis welcomes students beginning at 7:30 a.m. through our complimentary before-school care program. Students can ease into their day in a calm, supervised environment before classes begin, giving families added flexibility during busy mornings.

Lower School After Care
Our Lower School after-care program provides a balance of structure, creativity, and fun. Students enjoy a healthy snack, active play, hands-on activities, and opportunities to complete homework before heading home.For students in grades 2–4, Homework Club offers additional academic support and guidance from Ellis teachers, helping students build strong study habits and confidence while completing assignments. -
Middle School After Care
Middle School students benefit from a more independent after-school experience while still receiving the support and supervision they need.Students can enjoy social time, creative activities, and a healthy snack, while Homework Hub provides a quiet library setting where students can independently complete assignments and prepare for the next school day. -
Upper School Flexibility
Upper School students are welcome to remain on campus after classes conclude to collaborate on group projects, participate in school activities, meet with classmates, or complete assignments independently.This option provides families with additional flexibility while encouraging students to develop independence and responsibility. No registration fee is required.
Designed for Busy Families
Life doesn't stop when the school day ends, and Ellis is here to help. Our before- and after-school programs provide flexible, dependable care that supports the needs of modern families while enriching students' daily experiences.
With early drop-off beginning at 7:30 a.m., after-school programming until 6:00 p.m., and additional coverage offered during select professional development and conference days, families can count on Ellis for convenience and peace of mind. Along the way, students enjoy opportunities to learn, create, play, complete homework, and build meaningful connections within our caring school community.
