In the clay room I’m able to put on my headphones, listen to my favorite music, and escape from the stressful environment that is the upper school. I will forever be grateful for the lessons and guidance that Mrs. Sturdevant has provided for me and all the other clay students. Throughout my three years in clay I’ve been challenged both artistically and personally; pushing myself to create pieces that make me step out of my artistic comfort zone, and I've become less of a perfectionist and am more accepting of imperfection in my artwork. I am most proud of my swan tea bowl.
