  • AARON FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP

    The Aaron Family Scholarship was established in 1999 as a gift from Barbara and Marcus Aaron, Susan AARON '76, Judy AARON Penner '78, and Barbara AARON Rosston '80.
  • ALICE S. BECKWITH ’49 SCHOLARSHIP

    The Alice S. BECKWITH ’49 Scholarship was established in 1997 by Alice S. Beckwith and supports financial aid to Ellis students with preference to daughters of Ellis alumnae.
  • ALUMNAE ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP

    The Alumnae Association Scholarship was established by the Ellis Alumnae Association in 1979 as a Middle School award but was later changed to be used where the financial need is the greatest.
  • ANNIE SEAMANS SCHOLARSHIP

    The Annie Seamans Scholarship was established in 2000 by an anonymous donor as a tribute to Ellis alumna Annie SEAMANS ’98 who died in an automobile accident in October 1999.
  • ARTS, EQUITY, & EDUCATION FUND SCHOLARSHIP

    The Arts, Equity, & Education Fund Scholarship provides support to a diverse range of highly qualified Middle School students who will thrive at Ellis and become dynamic future leaders and changemakers in the Pittsburgh community and beyond.
  • CONDELLIS SCHOLARSHIP FUND

    The Condellis Scholarship is awarded in memory of Dr. Howard C. Scharfe and Marjorie Scharfe and in honor of Carol SCHARFE Widing ’59 and her brother Donald Scharfe. The Scharfe family opened their home to Ariane Condellis when she was a foreign exchange student at Ellis in 1957–1958.
  • EQT FUND FOR EQT SCHOLARS

    The EQT Fund for EQT Scholars was established in 2017 with a donation by the EQT Foundation and ensures that Ellis continues to activate its mission by welcoming students from all socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • JUDY COHEN CALLOMON '54 SCHOLARSHIP, ENDOWED BY THE ROCKWELL FOUNDATION

    The Judy COHEN Callomon '54 Scholarship was established in 1999 by the Rockwell Foundation in honor of Judy COHEN Callomon '54 who was associated with Ellis for most of her life, as a student, alumna, parent, teacher, friend, Director of the Upper School, and Interim Head of School.
  • MARY MCCUNE EDWARDS MEMORIAL FUND

    Mary McCune Edwards Memorial Fund was established in 1993 by the Ellis faculty, staff, and administration in honor of Mary McCUNE Edwards ’42, an alumna, friend, and long-time trustee.
  • PATSY GRABLE BURKE ’46 AND JOJO SEAMAN BRADSHAW ’47 FRIENDSHIP FUND

    The Patsy GRABLE Burke ’46 and Jojo SEAMAN Bradshaw ’47 Friendship Fund is given by their respective families in honor of their profound and lifelong friendship that started when they were classmates at Ellis. The fund provides three full scholarships for students who would otherwise be unable to attend Ellis.
  • PERFORMING ARTS SCHOLARSHIP

    The Performing Arts Scholarship was established in 2005 to support students who are committed to music, dance, or theater.
  • STAIMAN SISTERS SCHOLARSHIP FUND

    The Staiman Sisters Scholarship Fund was established in 2000 to honor the memory and spirit of Emma Staiman Mamolen and Frieda Staiman.
  • SUSAN SAYERS CRANE ’55 LOWER SCHOOL STUDENT FUND

    The Susan SAYERS Crane ’55 Lower School Student Fund honors the retirement of Susie Crane as Lower School Division Director.
  • TIGER SCHOLARSHIP

    Through the enormous generosity of anonymous donors, Tiger Scholarships underwrite the Tailored Tuition of exemplary students who are bright, engaged changemakers ready to build strong relationships, grow their confidence, take intellectual risks, and make the most of their Ellis experience.
  • VEO PARRAN SCHOLARSHIP

    Veo Parran Scholarship was established in 2000 to honor Veolante BENNETT Parran ’44 who was a member of the Ellis Board of Trustees, President of the Alumnae Association, long-time member of the Alumnae Council, a class correspondent, a Sara Frazer Ellis awardee, and a member of the Ellis Capital Campaign Committee.
