Class of 2024 College Commitments

The 16 members of The Ellis School’s Class of 2024 will matriculate to 16 distinct institutions across eight states. Among these institutions are an institute of technology, R1: Doctoral Universities, a university in our nation’s capital, a women’s college, a historically black university, and an array of compelling liberal arts colleges.
“For each member of a class to attend a different, distinct institution is a first for my time here at Ellis,” said Director of College Counseling Keith Bryner. “This outcome is uncommon both in independent schools, and for schools of our size. It’s really a testament to the differentiated developmental experience Ellis offers, and shows that Ellis graduates feel both empowered and directed in selecting their unique pathways in post-secondary education.”

Ellis seniors received an average of 6.6 offers of admission. They have elected to enroll at the following:

Carnegie Mellon University
Case Western Reserve University
Chatham University
Denison University
Dickinson College
Duquesne University
George Washington University
Hampton University
Mount Holyoke College
Rice University
Rochester Institute of Technology
Rollins College
Syracuse University
The Ohio State University
University of Pittsburgh

While some enrollment decisions are not yet finalized, all members of the Class of 2024 are moving forward with college acceptances and are already thinking about what they plan to study in this next phase of their education.

“The Class of 2024 has embraced the extraordinary potential of their futures while recognizing the value of their time at Ellis,” Mr. Bryner said. “We are so proud of them, and so excited to see where the future takes them.”
