Affording Ellis

For many families, affording an independent or private school education takes planning, and most employ several strategies to keep the costs within reach. In this planning, it is important to realize that the family bears the primary responsibility for financing a child’s education.

The financial aid process is separate from the admissions process, and applying for aid will not jeopardize a girl’s opportunity for admission. Financial aid up to 50 percent of the tuition is available to Lower School families. Middle and Upper School families can receive aid up to the full cost of tuition based on financial need.
