When I first toured at Ellis, I became intrigued and interested in the Arts, specifically Clay. During my first year at Ellis, I decided to take Clay because it was one of the electives that stuck out to me because the environment was super chill and allowed me to express myself.
These art classes gave me different opportunities to express, connect, and explore different topics and have new experiences based off of my artwork. These art classes have also allowed me to grow as a person and artist to help me become more confident in myself. The works I have chosen to show are my African Lady, blue bird, two of my Raku pieces, and my wood-fire vessel.
