Artist's Statement:
Throughout my four years of taking photo at Ellis, I have come to truly appreciate the craft of photography. From the creative intention and ideation of a shoot, to the mechanics of different cameras and the science of development, I have a great respect for details of the process and the potential the camera offers.
The works I've chosen to share each represent a different year of my Advanced Photography studies (10th–12th grade) and have been some of the projects I've enjoyed the most. Coincidentally, they have also been some of the projects that caused me the most frustration and required many reshoots/shifts in ideas, but with this frustration and the challenges they presented came great satisfaction with the results.
