Amy Yam receives 2012-2013 JEP Grant

The Ellis School is pleased to announce that Upper School math teacher Amy Yam has been awarded the 2012-13 JEP Travel Grant. Amy will use the grant as she works on a biography tracing the life story of her mother who was also a mathematician.

The Janet Jacobs Enrichment Program (JEP) Travel Grant has been in place at Ellis since 1977 and is intended as a means of enrichment and renewal for faculty who have given ten years or more extended service to the school.

The travel grant program is administered by the Head of School; recipients are selected by a committee of the Head of School, Division Directors of the Lower, Middle and Upper Schools, and the Academic Dean.
