Reunion Weekend 2024: Celebrating Connection, Legacy, and Lifelong Bonds

From October 4 to 5, Ellis was alive with energy, laughter, and heartfelt reconnection as we welcomed alumnae back to campus for Reunion Weekend 2024.
Celebrating classes ending in 4s and 9s, the weekend was filled with meaningful moments, special events, and shared stories that reminded us of the lasting power of an Ellis education.

The celebration kicked off on Friday evening with our signature event," Decades Apart, Bonded Forever: Alumnae Sisters", a moving panel featuring Ellis sisters who have supported, inspired, and empowered one another over the years. Among the speakers were Janessa BENN Dukes ’09 and Jessica BENN Hortman ’01, Annamaria Fato ’79, and Lucy Fato ’84. Their reflections on sisterhood and lifelong connection set the tone for a weekend rooted in gratitude and community.

Throughout the weekend, alumnae participated in a variety of events that showcased the many ways Ellis continues to engage, inspire, and support its graduates. Yoga classes, campus tours, and hands-on art activities offered opportunities to reconnect and relax, while Saturday’s cocktail party gave alumnae a chance to gather and celebrate milestone reunions in style.

One standout session was our Planned Giving Luncheon featuring representatives from the Bennington Law Firm. Alumnae came together to learn about estate planning, bequests, and how thoughtful giving can leave a legacy for future generations of Ellis students. It was an empowering and informative discussion that paired practical advice with personal meaning.

Thank you to every alumna, volunteer, faculty and staff member, and vendor who helped make Reunion Weekend a resounding success. Your energy, enthusiasm, and love for Ellis made all the difference. We can’t wait to welcome you back again!
