If you’re ready to begin your daughter’s official application to The Ellis School, you’ll create an individual family account through MyEllis, our online community and admissions platform. Our application checklist is listed below to help you stay organized.

Just getting started exploring Ellis for your daughter? The Admission Committee welcomes new applications on a rolling basis throughout the year, until a class fills. To learn about possible openings in your child's grade level, please reach out to admissions@theellisschool.org.

    • Schedule parent interview with Jamie Schiff, Head of Lower School
    • Schedule student classroom visit and academic assessment
  • Grades 5–8 (Middle School)

    • Request current English teacher recommendation
    • Request current math teacher recommendation
    • Register for one standardized assessment:
      • Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE)
      • Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT)
    • Request transcripts from current school

  • Grades 9-12 (Upper School)
