About: The Ellis School is an independent, all-girls, college-preparatory school located on a picturesque campus in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Ellis School serves students from age 3 through grade 12, making it the only school of its kind in Western Pennsylvania. The Ellis School was founded in 1916, making it 111 years old! Its long history is a testament to its enduring commitment to educating and empowering young women. Moreover, it is in the midst of an upsurge in enrollment, program, facilities and educational leadership.Job Summary: The Executive Assistant to the Head of School and the Board of Trustees provides consistent, confidential, and professional administrative support to the Head of School and the Board of Trustees in order to promote and maintain the well-being of the School and the broader community. The Executive Assistant to the Head plays an integral role in the day-to-day goings on of the school community. The ideal candidate is the first line of communication between the Head of School, the Board of Trustees and the wider community.
