Ellis cellist to perform with Symphony
Ellis students are exceptional musicians. Cellist and 10th grader Mathilda "Tillie" LaBranche will perform May 3, 2015 with the Edgewood Symphony Orchestra at its special Perfect Pitch! A Celebration of Music and Sports concert at Carnegie Music Hall in Oakland.
Tillie and her fellow musicians will perform Vivaldi's Harp Concerto in D, Op. 59. III. Allegro, a piece he famously composed for an ensemble of all-female musicians living in a home for girls.
