Ellis Lacrosse Division II, Section I Champs headed to play-offs
A 17-2 win over Yough on Tuesday secured Ellis Varsity Lacrosse a spot in the WPIAL play-offs.
With an overall record of 11-2 Ellis is ranked No. 14 in Laxpower.com's Eastern schools girls ratings.
Coach Paulette Cutruzzula '06 describes the team as close, dedicated, and supportive of each other. "Elise (Medeiros '13) is a scoring and assisting machine, and Shae (LaPlace '13) is a first year goalie who stepped in when we needed one."
Team captains are seniors Anna Thomas, Erin West, and Elise Medeiros.
