Ellis student to direct learn to ice skate program
Ellis junior Dane Bluestone ’14 will serve as director of the Learn-to-Skate program at Schenley Park Ice Rink for the 2012-13 season.
The Pittsburgh Figure Skating Club sponsors Learn-to-Skate programs at Pittsburgh area public skating rinks, including Schenley, and offers classes for all ages and abilities. Dane has been a volunteer instructor with the program since 2008. As director, she’ll be responsible for administration, marketing, hospitality, and on-ice volunteers. This year’s program starts on Saturday, December 8. Look for Dane on the ice!
