Class of 1979 Wins the Alumnae Cup Challenge—with Style and Spirit
Congratulations to the spirited and generous Class of 1979, winners of this year’s Alumnae Cup Challenge! With the highest number of gifts and dollars raised among all reunion classes, this incredible group of alumnae proved that Ellis pride only grows stronger with time.
Their commitment to supporting The Ellis School was matched only by their enthusiasm—and sense of humor. In true Ellis fashion, the Class of ’79 celebrated their victory by slipping into their old uniforms and re-creating their senior photo, a joyful nod to the memories and friendships that continue to unite them decades later.
We are especially grateful to Annamaria Fato ’79, their dedicated class representative, for her thoughtful coordination and infectious school spirit. Thanks to her leadership and the collective efforts of her classmates, the Class of ’79 reminded us all of the power of tradition, connection, and community.
Thank you, Class of ’79, for your generosity, your humor, and your heart. Your support helps ensure that future generations of Ellis students will thrive—and have plenty of reasons to celebrate, just like you.
If you're interested in exploring Ellis for your daughter, let's connect! Request information about enrollment, attend one of our upcoming events, or hear about Ellis from those who know it best: our students.
