Ellis Enrollment Team Welcomes New and Returning Students for 2023–2024 School Year
We are thrilled to open our 2023–2024 school year with a diverse group of new and returning Ellisians!
This year we welcome 406 students, including 73 new students who come from 35 school districts around Pittsburgh and from all over the United States, including New Mexico, Illinois, and Massachusetts. Our new families speak a variety of languages at home, including Yoruba, French, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Greek, Mandarin, and Chinese. Our new students are athletes, artists, and scholars. We welcome readers, writers, journalers, visual artists (including handwork), singers, and musicians.
We look forward to watching our students perform on the stage and in athletic pursuits including swimming and artistic swimming, field and ice hockey, gymnastics, tennis, basketball, and running. We also have eight children of Ellis alumnae joining our student body for the 2023–2024 school year, and we look forward to seeing their parents on campus again!
A huge thanks is owed to our current families who referred friends or relatives, as well as those who attended a virtual or in-person admission event. If our Ellis students remind you of your friends, your daughter, or your relatives, we’d love to meet them.
