Class of 2018 Blazes New Trails

It’s official—the Class of 2018 is college bound. The Ellis School is thrilled to celebrate the many and wide-ranging achievements of the senior class and to announce this year’s matriculation list. This spirited group of 37 students was accepted to 68 institutions in 24 different states that are as diverse and unique as the girls themselves. The list represents 26 schools that are an outstanding fit for each girl’s individual ambitions and aspirations.

With students attending impressive institutions across the country, it’s clear that Ellis’ personal and proactive approach to college admissions works. Individual attention from teachers, small class sizes, and a rigorous, interdisciplinary curriculum prepares, empowers, and inspires each girl to find and embrace her best-fit college. When making their final decisions, Ellis seniors are encouraged to follow their own paths and commit to a school that not only supports who they are now, but who they will become.

From the “Hidden Ivies” to the “New Ivies” to the plain old Ivy League; from “Colleges that Change Lives” to nationally recognized research institutions; to the alma maters of U.S. presidents to universities named for presidents, Ellis grads are defined not by the labels attached to their respective institutions, but by the incredible sense of commitment and engagement that they will bring to each respective destination. As change agents both now and in the future, the Class of 2018 is more than ready to make their own indelible mark on the world.
