#GivingTuesday is Coming!
As we approach the end of the year, Ellis girls at all grade levels are working on service learning projects to give back to the community. We hope you too will consider giving back during this season of joyful giving and make your gift to the Ellis Fund. Starting on November 28, we are asking the Ellis community to participate in an initiative that reaches every corner of campus and touches the lives of each and every Ellis girl. Kicking off on #GivingTuesday, The Ellis School Board of Trustees will launch a $100,000 giving challenge in support of the Ellis Fund. During this time, generous trustees will double the impact of our community by matching every gift, of every size, dollar-for-dollar to the Ellis Fund up to $100,000 between November 28 and December 15.
As in all independent schools, tuition does not cover the full cost of attendance at The Ellis School. In fact, tuition covers only 75 percent of this cost. Annual giving helps cover the remaining 25 percent and is a pivotal part of ensuring that Ellis students experience the very best educational environment Pittsburgh has to offer girls. Gifts to the Ellis Fund go where the need is greatest, and the impact is significant. When you give to the Ellis Fund, you join a community of giving that supports everything that makes The Ellis School special: dedicated faculty members, small class sizes, exceptional academic program, experiential learning, and leadership opportunities. All of this takes place in a community of great warmth, where the joy of learning is celebrated.
