Ellis Students Excel on National Spanish Exam

Seventeen Ellis Spanish students in grades 8 to 12 competed in the National Spanish Examinations (NSE) and earned top awards. The NSE are online, standardized assessments given by over 4,000 teachers across the United States to measure language expertise. The test recognizes student achievements and promotes continued language proficiency in Spanish.
Awards are determined by percentile beginning with Bronce (Bronze) for the 75th through 84th percentile; Plata (Silver) for the 85th through 94th percentile; and Oro (Gold) for the 95th percentile and above.
