Ellis Students Excel on National Latin Exam
Eighteen Middle and Upper School students earned medals in the 2017 National Latin Exam (NLE). The NLE covers grammar, reading comprehension, Roman culture, history, geography, mythology, and etymology. Sponsored by the American Classical League and the National Junior Classical League, the test seeks to provide every student of Latin the opportunity to experience a sense of personal accomplishment and success in the study of the language and culture.
