Ellis Senior Awarded Prestigious Stamps Scholarship

Ellis senior, Taylor Robinson, has been awarded a 2017 Stamps Scholarship at the University of Pittsburgh for her outstanding academic record, leadership potential, and commitment to educational excellence. The scholarship is awarded in partnership with the University of Pittsburgh and the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation which partners with colleges across the nation to award exceptional students with the once-in-a-lifetime scholarship.
The Stamps Scholarship includes: full tuition, mandatory fees, room and board, an allowance for books, supplies, transportation expenses, personal costs, and access to an enrichment fund of up to $17,400 to be used for academic and professional development of the scholar’s choosing. The Stamps Scholarship is valued in excess of $150,000 over a four year period.

Students who apply to a Stamps partner school, like the University of Pittsburgh, are automatically considered for the scholarship if certain criteria are met, there is no separate application to apply on one’s own. Taylor is one of five incoming students at the University of Pittsburgh to be recognized as a Stamps Scholar. She plans to take the pre-med track and major in Biology and Communications.

Congratulations, Taylor!
