Ellis Senior Commits to Albright College for Lacrosse

Ellis senior Miranda Jones, Class of 2017, signed her letter of intent to play NCAA Division III Lacrosse at Albright College on Thursday, April 20. A fierce competitor and teammate, Miranda has played lacrosse at Ellis since the sixth grade, and has spent the last four years as a defender on the varsity team.
Speaking about Miranda, Ellis Lacrosse Coach Emily Deering Crosby said, “Miranda has grown so much as a competitive defender, leader, and positive teammate. This season she has taken her senior role on defense very seriously and this is reflected in her focused, elevated level of play—improving her body defense, developing her left hand, and continuing to be a strong vocal presence on the field. I am so excited that she will be continuing her lacrosse career at Albright!”

Miranda will compete with the Albright Women’s Lacrosse Team in the Commonwealth Conference. At Albright, Miranda plans to study crime and justice and biology with hopes to pursue a career in forensic science.

Congratulations, Miranda!
