Ellis Welcomes New Chef

We are pleased to introduce you to a new member of the Ellis Community—Chef Jesse Fox. 
Metz Culinary, Ellis' food service provider, has spent several months seeking to appoint a permanent chef that would be a good match for Ellis. Jesse Fox, the new chef and food service manager, is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, his home state, with a concentration in hospitality and restaurant management. Since 2007, Jesse served as executive chef, then director of food service, for White Oak Stations, a restaurant chain based in Rogers, Arkansas. He is a recent transplant to Pittsburgh with his family, and he is excited by the opportunity to join the Ellis Community. Chef Jesse maintains high standards for himself and his staff, and he can be found fulfilling all aspects of the work in the kitchen—from creating delicious and nutritious menu items to filling plates in the service line to sweeping up and keeping things tidy. His excellent work ethic is a great example for students, and he is off to a great start. Please stop by the kitchen to welcome Chef Jesse.
