Jonathan Auxier visits The Ellis School

New York Times Best Selling author Jonathan Auxier will visit The Ellis School on September 14, 2016, for a special assembly for Middle and Upper School students.
Auxier graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with an MFA in Dramatic Writing. He is a Canadian-American writer of young adult literature including his first novel Peter Nimble and His Fantastic Eyes, bestseller The Night Gardener, and his newest novel Sophie Quire and the Last Storyguard. Every fall, he teaches a class at Chatham University’s MFA program, discussing children’s literature.

Students will hear him speak during their kick-off assembly between 8:10 – 8:50 a.m. The assembly will be folllowed by an opportunity to meet the author and get books signed. Classic Lines Bookstore will donate 20% of book sales back to The Ellis School Library. Click here for a book order form.
