Ellis students earn 22 awards at PJAS competition

Fourteen Middle and Upper School students participated in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS) regional competition. Ellis students earned one perfect score, nine first place awards, five second place awards, and eight special awards. To complete in the regional competition students conduct a research project in one of 12 scientific categories identified by PJAS, and then present their research to a team of judges at competition.

Students who earned first place awards will compete at the 81st annual PJAS State Competitionon May 15, 16, & 17, 2016 at Penn State University in State College, PA.
