Kids can change the world!
Students in first grade have joined the fight to end hunger by raising money for the Kids Campaign to End Hunger. Cynthia Moore, Director of Community Education for the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, gave an in-class presentation about food insecurity, the Food Bank, and how students can get involved. The students are collecting donations until Friday, January 29, and will deliver the donations to the Food Bank in February.
If you would like to help the students reach their goal of $500 you may give your donation to first grade teachers Beth Leu or Allison Kissel.
