Ellis musicians to play Carnegie Hall
Start spreading the news: three Ellis musicians are headed to New York City where they, as members of the Three Rivers Young Peoples Orchestra, will perform in the Sounds of Summer Festival, which takes place June 14 to 18, 2015 at locations including Carnegie Hall.
The Ellis musicians are Madeleine Mortimer, Class of 2017, on viola, Tillie LaBranche, Class of 2017, on cello, and Emily Mazur, Class of 2016, on flute. TRYPO will also perform this Saturday, June 13, at the Three Rivers Arts Festival in Pittsburgh. Tickets to the TRYPO Sounds of Summer performances are available online from Carnegie Hall.
