Ellis Students raise money on Earth Cream Day
Ellis 4th graders celebrated Earth Cream Day on April 22, 1015 by selling ice cream to fund a green a space on the Ellis campus. This year’s ice cream sale for students and faculty raised more than $1,000 that will be used to fund plantings and landscaping on the grey house site adjacent to campus. The Ellis junior class is leading the green space planning project and will work to engage every grade level in their efforts.
The 4th graders created awareness of Earth Day and sustainability by creating posters and hosting an assembly for all grades.
