The Ellis community loves to help others. Pajama Day, which took place March 11, 2015, raised more than $1,600 in cash donations, 100+ pairs of new pajamas, and more than 100 books. All proceeds are donated to the Pajama Program, a nonprofit that donates new PJs and books to foster children. The effort was organized by Middle School Guild, through which Ellis middle school students organize charitable efforts and community service.
