Ellis teacher selected as national AP Latin test leader

Congratulations to Dr. Victoria Jordan! She is one of only four people in the United States selected this year by the College Board to oversee the grading of AP Latin Exams taken by 11th and 12th graders nationwide. Dr. Jordan, along with three other Latin scholars (two of whom are college professors), will supervise 100 teachers grading Latin AP exams.
Dr. Jordan is a beloved Ellis teacher known for her passion for Latin, her creativity in the classroom , and for her high academic standards. She has taught Latin at Ellis since 1998. She has been a College Board AP Latin test grader for 15 consecutive years. This is the third time that Dr. Jordan has served as a national leader for the AP Latin exams. AP leaders serve for one year.
