This camp will enrich any teenage student aspiring to work in the foreign service, but the I Want to Be an Ambassador camp is so much more—jam-packed with invaluable lessons for all teens. This camp includes an overnight stay in Washington, D.C.
  • Luminari: Speak and Tell

    This camp helps teens develop the thinking and speaking skills, as well as the relaxation tools, to take control of their time in front of an audience. Through master classes with professional broadcasters, performers, and communications trainers, the campers will learn the specific skills needed to command an audience. We guide the campers through exercises that will help them conquer stage jitters, focus their message, develop a public “voice,” and exude confidence in front of an audience. We know teenagers have a lot of important things to say. We’re going to help them say it with strength, verve, and personality.

    During the five days of camp, teens will gain new skills and confidence to create meals, discover new flavors and gain independence in the kitchen. Throughout the week, campers trace the path from earth to plate, with visits to community gardens and markets.     Batter (or should we say campers) up. Designed to accommodate all youth baseball players—from beginners to travel-team participants and every player in between—Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball Camp focuses on the fundamentals of the game so players of all abilities and skill levels can attend. Over the course of the week, campers will break out into small groups to develop and reinforce basic skills, while learning new ones.

    Campers who are eligible for Sessions 1 and 2 can register for both and receive a $25 discount.
    This musical camp is run by the members of Cello Fury, a rock/classical music crossover group. Open to violin, viola, cello, and bass players, this camp provides opportunities to play in a rock orchestra, practice in their own rock band, and participate in master classes led by professional string musicians. Daily activities range anywhere from composition/songwriting and improvisation to pop-up street performances and fitness for musicians. Rockers will put on a performance on the final day of camp for family and friends. Each week has between 30 and 35 students.

Mad Science

  • Secret Agent Lab

    Your child will develop their special agent and detective skills in this super hands-on program. They'll uncover the science involved in evidence-gathering and analysis and discover how chemistry and the science of forensics can come to the aid of a secret agent. Secret agents-in-training will use science and awesome technological tools to connect the dots and help sniff out the suspects in this investigation into the science of sleuthing.
