Ellis Parent Association Meeting

All Ellis parents are automatically members of the EPA upon signing your daughter’s contract. In March we asked for your feedback about how the Ellis Parent Association (EPA) is currently serving you. In response, the EPA executive committee has analyzed your feedback and reflected on ways we can improve. To guide this important work, we will utilize the following mission statement and values:

Mission: The Ellis Parent Association, in partnership with the school, creates an inclusive and welcoming community by providing enriching activities, volunteer opportunities, and fundraising initiatives.

Core Values of the EPA
  1. The EPA commits to be inclusive and welcoming to all members of the community.
  2. The EPA fosters communication between the School and parents.
  3. The EPA serves the community by building engagement and connection amongst parents.
  4. The EPA provides opportunities for parents to volunteer and fundraise in support of the School’s mission.
As a next step, we are asking all parents to help us determine which events best serve the mission and values of the EPA and select events and activities to pursue in the 2018–2019 school year. We hope you will join us at our final EPA meeting of the year on Tuesday, May 29 at 8:00 a.m. in the Benjamin R. Fisher Gallery. All Ellis families are invited to attend. At the meeting we will cover:

May 29 Meeting Agenda
  • Vote on 2018–2019 EPA initiatives and events
  • Inform parents about opportunities to get involved
  • Announce the 2018–2019 EPA executive committee
  • Announce the approved 2017–2018 community grants
Don’t forget to come a little early on Tuesday, May 29 for the Parent Volunteer Breakfast starting at 7:30 a.m. This breakfast is provided by the School to show their appreciation to all of the many Ellis families who have volunteered their time and talents in support of the School and our daughters.

We look forward to seeing you the morning of May 29!
