Teacher Appreciation Day
The Ellis School is celebrating National Teacher Appreciation Day on May 5, 2020. A group of very generous community members have offered to match all Ellis Fund gifts in honor of Ellis teachers up to $100,000 on this day for 24 hours!
Each and every day, Ellis teachers make a difference in the lives of their students. Ellis teachers don’t just teach a student how to read, write, and solve math problems. They teach her how to use her voice, be a compassionate citizen, and stand up for herself. All of this happens because our teachers are personally invested in the success and well-being of every girl, every day. From providing extra guidance outside of the classroom to cheering students on as fans from the stands, Ellis teachers make an effort to genuinely know their students, and for that they deserve to be recognized.
On Teacher Appreciation Day, please make a gift to the Ellis Fund to show your support and celebrate Ellis teachers.
