"Art From the Heart" 8th Grade Art Exhibition
Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh
Ellis is partnering with Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC to present Art from the Heart, an exhibition of 8th grade student art on view in the Hospital’s 6th floor atrium from May 24 to June 1. The exhibition is meant to provide relief and enjoyment to Children’s Hospital patients and their families The 8s are also organizing a related book drive to collect children’s books for the Hospital library. Special thanks to Ellis parent, Beth Lewis for helping to make this collaboration a reality.
Ellis families must be registered to attend the exhibition reception.
The reception takes place between 5:00-6:15 pm on Wednesday, May 30th.
When you arrive, you will need to sign in at the registration desk in the main lobby (facing Penn Ave) before heading up to the 6th floor Atrium where the girls work will be on view.
You may also register for a guided tour of the art collection at CHP. The tour will leave the Atrium area at 5:35 pm and will return by 6:15 pm.
The art exhibit runs from May 24 - June 1.
Parking for Children's Hospital can be on-street (metered) or in any of their garages. More parking information available here.
