Ellis Senior Published in Academic Journal

Ellis senior, Heather Harrington, Class of 2015, has become the 11th Ellis student to have her work published in The Concord Review, the only quarterly journal in the world to publish academic work of secondary students. The Concord Review has published more than 1,000 research papers from authors in 46 states and 38 others countries.
Heather’s paper, Universities of the People: The Impact of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh in the Great Depression, was published in The Concord Review’s spring 2015 issue. The paper focuses on the use of libraries as centers for public education and self-improvement during the Great Depression.

The Concord Review is distributed in 42 states in the U.S., and 36 countries.
