WHAT ATHLETIC TEAMS OR EXPERIENCES HAVE YOU ENJOYED MOST AT ELLIS?     
I am a member of the Varsity Cross Country and Track and Field teams, and they are simply wonderful. I'm also a member of the orchestra, which is fun because we get to perform in different concerts throughout the year. Mini Courses at the end of the year are an enjoyable experience for me. Last year was especially fun, because I co-taught a Mini Course on Film with my French teacher. I hope to co-teach another mini course this year, as well.

WHICH CLUBS HAVE YOU PARTICIPATED IN?    
I am the president of Greek Club. But I am also involved in Touring Tigers, Students for a Greener Pittsburgh, and the Student Diversity League, which plans Culture Jam.

WHO WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO SPEND A DAY WITH:    
I would most like to spend the day with Nick Carraway from The Great Gatsby. I love Nick's outlook on life; he doesn't judge people because not everybody is brought up under the same circumstances. I feel like I could learn a lot from him about integrity and staying true to yourself. In all the time he spends with Gatsby, he never forgets who he is and he doesn't indulge in their extravagant behaviors. I admire him for that.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SPORTS TEAM:
I might be biased when I say this, but my favorite sports team is the Varsity Cross Country Team. As one of the smallest teams in our section, we pack a mean punch! We were section champions this year with only 7 full-time runners! We are also the most dedicated; we have both morning and after school practices. My teammates are my biggest joy, however. I have never come across such a wonderful group of girls-- I am honored to call all of them my friends!
